The choir VOKALIAS comes from - and around Grindsted, Denmark. Therefore we have chosen the BLACKPOT as the the main objekt in our Coat of Arms. This was until 2008 the main part of the Coat of Arms in Grindsted. The Blackpot has been produced and used for centuries in this part of the country. Made from local clay and burnt in the open at the heathmores - the locals have used this pot for storage and production of all kinds of food as long as man can look back. We look upon this blackpot as the most significant local symbol which we have combined with our name, location, 5 note-lines and a stylish note.
